Stuart O'Connor - Takaka

UK Singer/songwriter Stuart O’Conner plays live at The Mussel Inn as part of a 6 week New Zealand tour.

Stuart O'Connor honed his style as guitarist/vocalist with progressive rock 3 piece 'My Pet Junkie' (With Julia Bell & Liam Camfield) with whom he's been a member for 8 years touring the UK extensively.

In 2006 he made a step in a new direction with the release of his 'Autonomous Debut' Album. 16 tracks which featured a great array of guest musicians who helped sculpt a record that 2BOB.co.uk called "Gentle, powerful, uplifting...quite simply a stunning debut."

Stuart's second full length effort 'The Distance From Here' will be released this year, The album will feature 13 new tracks with elements of folk/Jazz/Rock/Fusion and hip hop.

Stuart is a full time 100% independent musician.
