African Odyssey - Wellington Premiere
Armed with no motorcycle experience and an HD camera four fellas from small-town Whakatane, New Zealand, decided to screw the job, the good advice and set off on the adventure of a life time - crossing the length of the mighty African continent, Cape Town to London - 21,000km's on motorbikes most wouldn't ride to the cow shed.
And did they make it? You bet their bruised backsides they did. Not only did they manage to ride all 21,000km from Cape Town to London and not get shot, these clever chaps even managed to film the whole thing too – so now we get to watch!
Countless border crossings, rogue animals, debilitating bouts of diarrhea and about three thousand seventy two pot holes later, they bring you African Odyssey - a full length documentary that captures the joy of adventure, Africa and motorbikes.
Drinks and Nibbles from 5.0pm, doors open at 6pm for 6.15pm start.
Question and Answer session with the film-makers after the show, and then the Thomas Oliver Band will perform.
