Marlborough Sounds Festival - Water and Wilderness

The very first Marlborough Sounds Water and Wilderness Festival will feature 5 weekends of Marlborough food and wine, plus exciting recreational opportunities in the scenic Marlborough Sounds.

The festival kicks off with Water and Wilderness in the Sounds Portage Party on Friday 26th. Dance the night away to ABBA tunes with the D and D showband .

Enjoy a fabulous showcase of Marlborough food and wine - wildfood, shellfish, mussels, salmon and wine.

Meet the winemakers from Forrest Estate Winery, Allan Scott Wines, Lawsons dry Hills and Pernod Ricard on the afternoon of Saturday 27th for a pre dinner wine tasting. Each table will be hosted by a winery representative, get up close to Marlborough wines.

The second Weekend of the festival will include the Sounds Adventure Challenge. A multi adventure challenge featuring biking, sea kayaking, walking and running on the trails of the Marlborough .

Big beach bonfires and BBQ at end of each day.
