Four Houses from Four Decades
This 16 minute film profiles the interior and exterior of four homes from each era of the 1940s to the 1970s. A voice-over comprising architects, architectural historians and inhabitants will outline features specific to the era, and how this new style changed modern architecture.
The film will screen every hour, on the hour between 10am and 4pm.
Produced specifically for Heritage Week 2008 by New Zealand Historic Places Trust Pouhere Taonga Area Coordinator Zoë Roland and Architectural Historian Dr. Jessica Halliday.
