Outer Spaces

The Gallery’s new programme of artworks in the 'outer spaces' starts to heat up over winter, with Inez Crawford’s Bouncy Marae arriving in June in time for Matariki and a line-up of sound artists making themselves heard in the new Subsonic programme in the carpark bunker.

Out on the Worcester Boulevard façade, Richard Killeen’s spectacular billboard 'The Gathering' lights up the winter evenings. And inside the foyer, there’s no missing Sara Hughes’ dazzling work 'United We Fall' – the first major commission in our Glasshouse series.
